These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the FactuLingua website, web application, desktop application, Android application, and related cloud services (together, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who operates FactuLingua

FactuLingua is operated by Lukasz Jozwiak, Sole Trader, United Kingdom, trading as “FactuLingua”.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use the Services. If you use the Services on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate and up-to-date account information.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless caused by our fault.
We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, fraud prevention, maintenance, or legal compliance.

4. Our Services

FactuLingua provides tools for creating and managing quotes, invoices, client records, and related business data.
Some features may be available only on certain platforms or subscription plans.
We may update, improve, modify, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary.

5. Your data and content

You retain responsibility for the business data, documents, client information, and content you enter into the Services.
You grant us a limited right to host, process, transmit, back up, and display that data only to provide and secure the Services.
You must ensure that your use of the Services and the data you enter complies with applicable law, including tax, invoicing, privacy, and consumer laws.

6. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Services, interfere with their operation, bypass usage limits, tamper with entitlements, or attempt unauthorised access.
You must not use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or misleading purposes.
You must not reverse engineer or decompile the Services except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by law.

7. AI-assisted features

Where available, AI-assisted outputs are provided as drafting or productivity tools only. You remain responsible for checking and approving all outputs before relying on them in business documents or communications.

8. Subscriptions and payments

Paid features, billing cycles, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are governed by our Subscription Terms.

9. Privacy and cookies

Your use of the Services is also subject to our Privacy Policy and Privacy Statement.

10. Availability

We aim to provide the Services with reasonable care and skill. However, availability may occasionally be affected by maintenance, updates, third-party outages, or events outside our reasonable control.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time.
You may cancel paid subscriptions as described in the Subscription Terms.
We may suspend or terminate access where you materially breach these Terms, commit fraud, misuse the Services, or where continued provision is unlawful or unsafe.

12. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Subject to the paragraph above, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability arising out of or in connection with the Services will be limited to the total amount paid by you to us for the relevant paid Services in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with the updated date.

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
