Subscription Terms

These terms apply to FactuLingua™ subscription plans purchased through Stripe or PayPal.

1. Plans and Features

• Plan features and usage limits are listed on our pricing page and enforced server-side.
• AI features, document quotas, and database sync availability vary by plan.
• Add-ons (AI Boost, Ads OFF, document top-ups, email credits) require an active subscription.

2. Billing Cycle and Renewal

• Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled.
• By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your selected payment method.
• You will receive email confirmation for new subscriptions, renewals and cancellations.

3. Prices and Taxes

• Prices may change. Renewals use the current price after prior notice.
• VAT or other taxes may apply depending on your billing country or region.

4. Payment Processing

• Stripe: handles card payments and supported digital wallets.
• PayPal: handles PayPal balance and linked payment methods.
• We never store full card numbers, CVV or bank logins on our servers.
• Payment processors may collect device/network data for security and fraud prevention.

5. Cancellations

• You may cancel at any time via your account dashboard.
• Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
• After expiry, access to paid features ends automatically.

6. Refunds

• Subscription fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period begins.
• Refunds may be issued in line with UK consumer law or confirmed service faults.
• Partial or pro-rated refunds are discretionary unless required by law.

7. Failed Payments

• If a payment fails, access to paid features may be paused.
• Stripe or PayPal may retry charges automatically.
• You must update your payment details to restore access.

8. Fair Use and Abuse

• You may not bypass server-enforced limits, tamper with entitlements, or alter data files.
• We may throttle, suspend or terminate accounts for abuse, fraud or violations.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Subscription Terms. Continued use after changes means acceptance of the updated version.

10. Warranty and Liability

The service is provided “as is”. Liability is limited as described in the End-User License Agreement (EULA).
