Subscription Terms

These terms govern subscriptions to FactuLingua™ plans purchased through Stripe or PayPal.

1. Plans and Features

• Plan features and limits are described on our pricing page and enforced server-side.
• AI features, database sync, and usage quotas may vary by plan.

2. Billing Cycle and Renewal

• Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled.
• By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your selected payment method.

3. Prices and Taxes

• Prices may change; renewals use the then-current price after prior notice.
• Taxes, VAT, or duties may apply depending on your billing country or region.

4. Payment Processing

• Stripe: cards and supported wallets under the Stripe Services Agreement.
• PayPal: PayPal balance or linked methods under the PayPal User Agreement.
• FactuLingua™ does not store full card numbers or bank details on its servers.

5. Cancellations

• You can cancel at any time from your account dashboard.
• Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing term unless otherwise stated.
• After cancellation, access to paid features will end when the billing period expires.

6. Refunds

• Fees are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started.
• Prorated or discretionary refunds may be granted in line with UK consumer law or in cases of verified service faults.

7. Failed Payments

If a payment fails, access to paid features may be suspended. Automatic retries will occur. Please update your payment details to restore access.

8. Fair Use and Abuse

• Users may not bypass server-enforced limits, tamper with entitlements, or alter client data files.
• We reserve the right to throttle, suspend, or terminate accounts for abuse or fraud.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Warranty and Liability

Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Liability is limited as outlined in the End User License Agreement (EULA).
